Terms of Service & Quotation Clearing Terms

1. Nature of the Service

AsbestosRemovalCalculator.co.uk is an automated statutory calculation and quotation clearinghouse. The figures generated by the calculator represent algorithmic estimates based on national contractor rates, Environment Agency hazardous landfill tipping fees, and Health and Safety Executive (CAR 2012) labour requirements.

2. Site Surveys & Formal Quotations

Online estimates are subject to physical site inspection, access verification, and where applicable, UKAS-accredited sample analysis. Complex materials such as Asbestos Insulating Board (AIB) require statutory 14-day HSE notifications (ASB5) and 4-stage clearance testing which may alter final contractor specifications.

3. Hazardous Waste Consignment Notes (EWC 17 06 05*)

Contractors matched via our platform are required to be registered Upper-Tier Waste Carriers with the Environment Agency and to issue compliant 5-part Hazardous Waste Consignment Notes upon completion. Customers must retain these notes for conveyancing (Law Society TA6).
